In the early 1970s, Cadbury's repackaged their smallest chocolate bars to ones whose wrappers featuring various cartoon monsters. The theme was silly not scary and was successful enough to produce two series of wrappers. The front of the wrapper featured the main monster while the back sported text describing the monster's fictional background.
