Creepmas - Haunted Mansion Holidays

Every year in Disneyland the Haunted Mansion is shut down so the illustrious characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas can take over the Mansion and add a little Creepmas Cheer. I've never been fortunate enough to attend as I've never been to California but I have hopes that one day the trend will spread to Disney World's Haunted Mansion, until then, be like me and live vicariously through this POV video of the ride.

Countdown to Halloween - Disney on my Mind

Me and the rest of the Creepy Clan are heading to Disney the week before Halloween so I find my mind preoccupied with thoughts of Disney World....and riding the Haunted Mansion until they ask me to please get off. That being said lets look at a little creepy Disney fare...

Countdown to Halloween - Runaway Brain

Runaway Brain was a 7-minute animated short-subject produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation Paris, and starring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in Mickey's last theatrical short to date. It was released on August 11, 1995 attached to the feature A Kid in King Arthur's Court where it was promptly overlooked since that movie tanked. It was re-released in front of the live action George of the Jungle movie which if memory serves me right...also tanked. The short was then for the most part forgotten by Disney or just generally overlooked although the "evil" Mickey from the short did show up on some Disney Villains merchandise found at Diney World in 2000 ( I know because I bought them).

In recent years there seems to be a growing trend for highly collectible products featuring the "evil" Mickey including Kubrick figures, high end Vinyl figures and super articulated action figures.

In an attempt to convince Minnie that he hasn't forgotten to buy her an anniversary present, Mickey Mouse ends up promising to take her to Hawaii. Funds being short, he applies for a job as lab assistant to the sinister Dr. Frankenollie, who happens to be searching for a donor to provide his monstrous creation with a brain...

Lets watch..

That was sumthin' hunh...Disney and Monsters...perfect together
