Pretty sweet hunh?
The second is a comic and specialty store exclusive black and white version of the Koach with Herman dressed in his "Punk Rods" Hotrod Herman gear. This one is gonna be super tough to get and it's a shame because I'd like to have the figure but I really don't need two Koaches.
Interestingly while the Koach is designed to hold multiple figures, only Herman is being released. Perhaps the rest of the first family of fright will be issued if this sells well...maybe we'll get a Mini Mates Dragula to go with the Koach? One can only hope. Both sets are due to be released in the next few weeks so keep yer bloodshot eyes peeled...
Next up comes word via the fabulous site CultTVMan of two new Munster figural model kits from Moebius Models. The two kits, scuplted by Jeff Yegher depict Grandpa and Herman working in Grandpa's Lab on an experiment and can be combined together to make one large scene like the old Aurora Prehistoric Scenes kits.
Also on the Munsters model front is an HO Scale Model of the infamous house at 1313 Mockingbird Lane
This will look awesome displayed next to the old Polar Lights Addams Family House model kit from a few years back.
And of course we can't forget the Marilyn and Eddie two pack due out any day

Hellbilly - One Hell of a Ride!
The other day I got an eamil form Shawn Rodgers, he had read the post about the forthcoming Hot Rod Herman and Dragstrip Grandpa figure and had some questions. We got to emailing back and forth and he sent me some pictures of his SWEEEEEEET ride, the Hellbilly. It's a 1930 Model A with a blown 350 Chevy engine and it's a thing of pure beauty. As some of you may know, I love custom cars...LOVE them, and the creepier the car the better so this baby is right up my alley, and if you're a regular here it's probably right up your's too...

Munsters Wave 2 - Hot Rod Herman
If you couldn't already tell I'm a huge Munsters fan, have been since I watched them in reruns on WPIX out of New York every morning as a child. So of course I bought the figures and I'll be buying the Marilyn/Eddie two pack coming soon, (as seen here) and now we have the latest additions to the line and they are from one of my top two episodes of the series - "Hot Rod Herman"

Here's Herman in his Punk Rods outfit. Poor ol' Herman got all hyped up on Eddie's talk about how his pop (Herman) could out drag his friend's dad. Unfortunately after Herman met the other dad and foolishly (it is Herman after all) got talked into betting the family car, better known as the Munster Koach he finds out the dad is a professional mechanic and racer. Naturally Herman loses and returns home to be scolded by Lily. Grandpa has a plan though...

Grandpa assembles his own dragster, the Drag-U-La, made famous in the Rob Zombie song of the same name. And the following weekend he puts the rail up against the Koach and of course wins it back. Of course how do you compete with a rail that plays "Oh Promise Me" in second gear? Anyway here's Gandpa in his racing gear. Man that is a perfect likeness.
Here's Lily with her sun umbrella to watch from the stands while Eddie chews his nails ( real iron nails)
Man I still really hope we get a Spot head in the staircase soon.

The Munsters are a Family Again
Diamond Select has announced a two pack to be released this summer of Eddie and Marilyn Munster to complete the first family of fright. Eddie is based of the likeness of young Butch Patrick and Marilyn off of Pat Priest. Eddie comes with his toy "Woof Woof" and Marilyn with a collar for the family pet Spot. I'm still hoping for a staircase with Spot tail to be released.

Munsters Action Figures
Announced at TOY FAIR from Diamond Select and Art Asylum

If these actually make it into stores and sell for less then the average going rate of $20.00 per figure lately I'll gladly pick up the whole family since my daughter thinks they are hysterical
