Hey I'm back for another League of Extraordinary Bloggers topic!
Come on, with a name like Monsterfink, what did you expect me to have a wall of?
The only problem with collecting Universal Monsters stuff is finding new areas of the wall to add more stuff to...
Go check out these other members of the League and their shelves
Cool and Collected has Gone Ape
Nerdy Life of Mine
Wow! This is collection that would have me howling! I didn't even know the monsters had this much merchandise.
ReplyDeleteAs an artist myself I'm digging the decor you've got on this blog. You made these all yourself? Cool! Glad I stumbled upon your link at Cool & Collected.
Wow, this is an epic display!
ReplyDeleteI've always wondered how to pull off a multi-format collection like this (figures of different sizes, plush toys, cups, comics, etc) and make the display of it look cohesive, an you've answered that question brilliantly here.
My jaw just dropped. This is a thing of beauty!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely collection. I'm jealous as hell. Mine is nowhere near that good. How do you dust it all, mate?
ReplyDeletedusting isn't easy
DeleteLove the comics as a border idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dex, they go around the whole room now. That wall is Devil Dinosaur, Monster on the Prowl and Where Creatures Roam. The next wall is Where Monsters Dwell. The next wall is double rowed with The Monster of Frankenstein, Werewolf by Night and Son of Satan. The last wall is all Charlton Gorgo comics.
DeleteOh WOW! I am huge fan of the classic monster flims. WOW, vary cool!
ReplyDeletethanks
DeleteIf you ever want to print out covers, I've got tons of digital horror stashed away
DeleteSucha great collection and an awesome display! The only thing I don't see is a copy of your magazine or some of your own art up on the wall. ;)
ReplyDeleteVery cool collection !!!
ReplyDeleteAnd the "Monster Cups"... We still have a few...
